Scarcity rarely shouts.
t quietly shapes our choices, our leadership, and even our faith.
We talk a lot about abundance, collaboration, and โone team.โ
But if weโre honest with ourselves, scarcity is still deeply embedded within us, even among believers.
Scarcity says there isnโt enough.
Enough opportunity. Influence. Resources. Recognition. Money, the most common concern.
So, we protect. Compare. Compete. Control.
And instead of living as one body, we drift toward self-preservation.
We manipulate. We undermine. We withhold information.
All while smiling.
But surrender changes everything.
Surrender isnโt weakness.
Itโs letting go of fear and control and trusting that God is the source.
When we surrender, something healthier begins to grow:
โก๏ธ Generosity
โก๏ธ Courage
โก๏ธ Trust
โก๏ธ Unity
โก๏ธ A desire to lift others, not guard territory
Imagine teams, churches, and communities built on that.
Not slogans. Not theory.
Not platitudes. Not pretending, which unfortunately, so many of us do.
Not competing, while calling it collaboration.
Why do we do this? Scarcity mindset. Fear. Lack of obedience and trust. Not being able to let go of control.
But real surrender is expressed in how we serve one another.
And in how honest weโre willing to be with ourselves first.
Weโre not there yet.
But the next step always starts inside our own hearts.
I have hope. So should you.
When surrender leads, what grows from it is stronger, freer, and far more life-giving.
