Over the past couple of weeks, a few friends have kindly shared with me that 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 has been appearing in parish discussions, church settings, spiritual retreats, and Lenten reflections.

I'm humbled and honored and want to express a heartfelt thank you. 🙏

Not in a promotional sense.

Not in a “look what is happening” sense.

But in a deeply grateful sense.

Because Lent has never been about a book, a project, or a person.

Lent is about the quiet, often uncomfortable invitation to let go. To trust more. To surrender more. To draw closer to Christ.

If anything meaningful has come from my writing, teaching, or conversations, I know exactly where the credit belongs. ✝️

It is not about me. It is the Holy Spirit working through imperfect vessels, often despite us, gently guiding hearts where He wants them to go.

That realization is both humbling and grounding.

My hope has always been simple. Not that people read something I wrote, but that something stirs within them. A pause. A reflection. A nudge toward prayer. A deeper relationship with Jesus.

Especially in this Lenten season, when surrender is not an abstract idea but a daily practice.

Letting go of control.

Letting go of certainty.

Letting God be God.

If this season is stretching you, unsettling you, or inviting you into deeper trust, you are not alone. That tension is often where transformation begins.

Grateful for the quiet ways God moves, including recent conversations and reflections shared within parish communities, church newsletters, and faith centered discussions.
